Brown Ledge is located eight miles north of Burlington, Vermont on Mallets Bay, the largest bay on Lake Champlain. With fifteen hundred feet of lake frontage, and a combination of fields, and woods, Brown Ledge’s property creates an outstanding summer camp environment.
Potential or current campers and their families are welcome to visit Brown Ledge throughout the year. Please notify our staff a few days in advance (by email during the summer, phone or email during the off season) so we can make accommodations for your visit.
Summer visitors may schedule a tour of the camp and, depending on available space, may be able to join us for a meal in the dining room. Visitors are welcome to swim or attend one of our theater activities if they visit on a Saturday night.
Parents of current campers are welcome to visit during the summer, at anytime, after the first ten days. Please refer to the Parent Handbook to learn more about the Ten Day Rule.
Visitors from out of state who do not already have accommodations should consider Burlington, Vermont’s largest city, for lodging options. Burlington provides an exceptional assortment of restaurants and shops. It is easily accessible via interstate 89, and Burlington Airport (BTV) connects travelers to major cities across the United States.
