For 93 years, BLC has been a summer home to thousands of girls and young women. In 1997, the Brown Ledge Foundation, Inc. was formed as a nonprofit organization with the following mission:

“The Brown Ledge Foundation oversees the operation, perpetuation, and educational mission of Brown Ledge Camp. The Foundation exists to support Camp’s current and future programs and preserve its natural setting on Lake Champlain.”

Your philanthropic support helps us attract the most qualified counselors, respond to requests for financial aid, and maintain the 70+ buildings, equipment, and property on Malletts Bay that BLC has called home since 1927. The Brown Ledge Foundation Board of Directors makes a conscious effort to keep camp tuition costs lower than comparable camps to remain accessible to families.

Giving to Brown Ledge

“As the parent of an alumna, I give each year because I want other girls to have the experience and opportunity our daughters had growing up at Brown Ledge Camp. I hope you’ll join me and make your gift today.”

-Carol Blanton
