When not at camp, Jen Ryan Onken lives and teaches high school in Southern Maine. She and her husband, Chris, are excited to be at camp this summer with their three kids, who still like to be woken up on school mornings to “Way Up in the Sky.” Jen is a proud BLCer, having been a camper, JC and sailing counselor in the late 80s; she’s back for her second consecutive summer after a loooong stretch away now that her daughter is old enough to be camper. Jen loves all things Vermont and outdoors. She wonders if anyone else missed Sunday bagels as much as she did last summer? She can’t wait to be back at her happy place– Mallets Bay on a sailboat, close hauled in a stiff breeze.
