Catherine Jiménez Ruiz is from Mexico. She is 23 years old and has been studying to get a degree in dance at BUAP since 2017, where her main subjects were Ballet, Contemporary, alternative and Graham technique, jazz and physical conditioning. Catherine has been taking ballet classes since she was 14 years old and has competed in two different competitions. While pursuing this career, she has learned other types of dance, choreography, and teaching methods. She really likes to read, travel, play volleyball, learn new languages, and to hang out with family and friends. Catherine’s favorite foods are pizza and desserts! She is really excited to come to BLC because she says that this will be an amazing opportunity to meet a lot of new people, live different experiences, teach dance, and contribute to the BLC community.
